Gea Zwart is a Dutch professional visual artist.
She has been working as an independent artist and designer since 1992. She studied at the Minerva Academy of Fine Arts in Groningen.

Gea Zwart has won several awards in the fields of art and entrepreneurship. Her work is exhibited around the world and in her own country. It is purchased by companies and private collectors.

She graduated in 1992 as an independent artist specialising in painting. She then continued to develop as an artist, with graphic design being an important sideline for many years. Since 2019, she has focused entirely on art and commissioned art, leaving the world of graphic design behind her.

She experiments with all kinds of materials and creates complex wall sculptures and modern paintings. Recycling materials has become an important factor in her work. She uses waste materials from companies. Her paintings are closely intertwined with this in visual language.
