Summer Fall

From the series Revised.
I began this small painting on a hot summer day, painting en plein air in the garden. The plants were changing color and drying, as if fall had already set in. I enhanced this effect later in another session by introducing nightfall into the painting.

A painting that looks great on both large and small walls. It features bold colors and rich detail.
