Wall sculptures from recycled plexiglassSince 2019
Sustainable due to the reuse of plexiglass, which I get from companies. Layered art, in which light plays a major role and always provides a different experience. About experiment, fragmentation, flow and change.
Let yourself be taken to another dimension, where imagination and emotion go hand in hand.
The basic theme is INTO THE UNKNOWN. Imagining The River of Life in all its shades. Not suspecting which unknown paths we have taken on a global level since 2019.
How do we live in an urban environment and nature? Is there connection? I use nature as a metaphor for how we live. Always changing, colourful. Growth and decline alternate.
Upcycling in collaboration with businesses100% sustainable
I reuse company plexiglass for my reliëfs. I transform their residual material into modern art. Together with wood and older pieces of art on paper. At the moment I reuse plexiglass from model Studio Z-as from Weesp and the architectural firm UNStudio from Amsterdam.

The healing power of art
How beautiful is it to transform the Plexiglas counter screens, applied in Corona time, into a new, sparkling reliëf on the wall?
As an art monument, in memory of the last intensive period in our lives. With the materials that have practically served their purpose.
upcycling instead of waste I work in commission.
